Former Denison Yellow Jacket standout Jordan Taylor was on hand for Conference USA Media Day.
Taylor has been a difference maker during his time at Rice, and was a big part of their conference title winning squad last season.
"He's just an incredibly gifted athlete, and more important, he was raised right," said Rice Head Coach David Bailiff.
Taylor was picked to represent the school at C-USA Media day, and if you ask his teammates, it's no surprise why.
"If I could say anything about Jordan Taylor, it's that he's a positive influence in the way he carries himself," said cornerback Malcolm Hill.
Taylor placed on the Biletnikoff Award watch list, which honors the nation's top collegiate wide receiver.
"I'm blessed, I'm honored to be on the list with some of those guys around the country," said Taylor.
Rice kicks of their season at Notre Dame on August 30th.
