The East Central University men’s golf team moved up one spot after the first day of the Bruce Williams Memorial to finish 10th, of 14 teams, at The Dominion Country Club.
The Tigers, who were tied for 11th after the first two rounds, finished one spot higher on the second day. ECU finished with a 926 (316-300-310) in the three round tournament.
Senior Jed Williams and sophomore Jason Goben paced the Tigers, as they both tied for 25th. Williams shots 76-72-77 for a 225, while Goben hit 81-72-72.
Junior Mickane Replogle finished tied for 54th with a 236 (76-75-85), sophomore Blade Knox was 67th with a 245 (83-83-79). Sophomore Drew Wickersham, who was competing in his first collegiate tournament, finished tied for 68th with a 246 (83-81-82).
ECU will finish its fall tournaments at the Texas A&M-Commerce Fall Review in The Colony, Texas at The Tribute. The tournament will start with a practice round, Sunday, Oct. 27 and then follow with two days of play, Oct. 28-29.
