Men's Tennis Headed for the Cameron Quad

The East Central University men’s tennis team will be in Lawton, Okla., this weekend to participate in the Cameron Quad. The Tigers (1-2) will face host Cameron, Southwest Baptist and Colorado Pueblo over the weekend.

ECU will first play the host Aggies, Friday, March 1 at 9 a.m. at the Streich-Henry Family Tennis Complex and Southwest Baptist at 2 p.m. The Tigers will then battle with Colorado Pueblo, Saturday, March 2 at 9 a.m.

Cameron is 4-1-1 on the season after winning their last three matches, with their last outing Feb. 17 when they defeated Ouachita Baptist (5-4). All six of the Aggies players have winning singles records; with Nicolai Ferrigno earning a 5-0 record at No. 1 singles this season.

The Bearcats are 1-2 so far in 2013 and have not played since Feb. 16. Domingos Carissimo is the top player for Southwest Baptist, with a 2-0 singles record.

The Thunderwolves are 0-2 on the year and have been idle since Feb. 3. Alex Lesiuk is the only Colorado Pueblo player to earn a win in singles, with a 1-1 record at No. 3 singles.
