Oklahoma State says the NCAA has granted Cowboy basketball player regarding Jéan-Paul Olukemi a waiver that gives the senior a full season of eligibility for the coming 2012-13 season.
OSU announced the NCAA decision on Wednesday.
The waiver was sought after it was learned that Olukemi a junior college class that he had taken during his final semester of high school would count against his college eligibility.
Oklahoma State opens the season with an exhibition game starting at 7 p.m. Thursday against Ottawa, Kan., at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
