A pair of North Central Texas College baseball players have been named to the All-Conference team by the coaches of the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.
Making first team All-Conference from NCTC were sophomores Landon Darwin and Austin Smith.
Darwin, a third baseman from Dodd City, finished the season with a .429 batting average. He had 15 doubles, 2 home runs and 47 RBIs in 50 games played. In addition, he had an impressive .540 on-base percentage.
Smith, a pitcher from Little Elm, was 2-0 with a 2.51 ERA with 10 saves on the season. In 14 1/3 innings pitched, he allowed just 10 hits and 4 earned runs with 14 strikeouts.
The Lions went 32-24 and advanced to the Region V Tournament.
