Oklahoma State adds assistant track and field coach

Oklahoma State has announced the hiring of a track and field and cross country assistant coach.

OSU said Monday that Mason Cathey comes to OSU after three years as an assistant at Butler and will work with distance runners on both the men's and women's teams.

Cathey is a graduate of the University of Florida where she helped the Gators to three consecutive Southeastern Conference Track and Field Championships.

She is also a former professional runner, specializing in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.
