Garnering rare Heisman Trophy buzz as a linebacker, Notre Dame's Manti Te'o has certainly grabbed the attention of No. 8 Oklahoma.
Te'o averages about 10 tackles per game, and he has four interceptions and a fumble recovery this season for a Fighting Irish defense that ranks second in the nation in points allowed and sixth in yards allowed.
Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops says the assignment of blocking Te'o will go to "whoever draws the unlucky straw."
It could fall to Sooners fullback Trey Millard, who has developed from a blocker into one of the team's most versatile playmakers. Two weeks ago against Texas, Millard had a career-high 119 yards receiving with a touchdown. He also caught a touchdown pass against Kansas last week on a seam route.
