The Austin College women's basketball team is teaming up with Oklahoma City University to take part in a charity food drive this weekend, with canned goods being collected at the Bob Mason Classic on Friday and Saturday.
The Oklahoma City team is working with Skyline Urban Ministries, located near their campus, to try to collect more than 500 canned goods for the holiday season. Skyline provides food for the homeless, as well as families that cannot afford meals.
Any donations of canned goods will be welcome, with a food drop box located in the lobby of the Mason Complex outside of Hughey Gym.
The 'Roos play at 7:00 p.m. on Friday in the first game of the Mason Classic, with two games taking place on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., including the game between OCU and the 'Roos in the second game that day.
