Southeastern men's tennis has re-entered the ITA Men's National Rankings at No. 46 and has moved to No. 5 in the Central Region according to the latest ITA poll released this week.
The Savage Storm have hit on a run of bad luck in recent weeks, dropping three-straight and slipping to 8-8 on the season, but the squad has posted solid wins over regional teams such as Nebraska-Kearney, while every loss has come to a team ranked higher than SE, including five against top-25 teams.
In the Central region rankings, Luka Radulovic has moved to No. 6 individually on the year and the duo of Radulovic and Martin Bedcarratz has climbed to No. 3 in the region.
Ouachita Baptist leads the Central region and is ranked No. 21 nationally as all four Great American Conference men's tennis programs are represented in the regional top-10.
The Storm is second among the conference at No. 5 in the region and No. 46 nationally, while rival East Central is right behind in both, ranked No. 48 nationally and No. 6 in the region. Harding is No. 8 in the region, but unranked nationally.
Southeastern will open its four-game GAC slate on March 29 when it hosts Ouachita Baptist at 10 a.m. at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.
