Southeastern will open the 2013 Great American Conference Tournament with a rematch against its foe from the 2012 GAC Tournament when it faces Ouachita Baptist at 8:30 p.m. on March 8 in Bruin Field House in Bartlesville, Okla.
The Savage Storm enters as the No. 4 seed and faces No. 5 seed OBU, which is the opposite of their meeting in 2012 when the Tigers were the higher seed.
SE dropped the 2012 meeting with OBU by a score of 85-65, but during the 2013 season the teams have split their two matchups.
The Storm won the first meeting early in the league season on the Tiger's home floor by a 59-56 margin as Chris Roussell led all scorers with 29 points on 10-of-14 shooting, including a 5-of-6 mark from three-point range.
The meeting in Durant later in the season did not go quite as smoothly for SE as the Storm shot 28.1 percent from the field en route to a 74-48 loss to OBU at home.
Andris Misters was the only SE player in double-digits, with 10 points as the Storm were playing their first game without point guard Travis Timmons.
Southeastern dropped its regular season finale at Harding, but have won four of its last six outings.
Roussell paces the club with 15.7 ppg on the year, while Steven Kohli is also in double-figures at 12.4 ppg.
Kohli leads the team in rebounding at 8.3 rpg, while Roussell is at 7.3 rebounds per outing and Mateus Oliveira follows with 6.8 rpg.
Timmons has returned to action, but not the starting lineup, following his injury and is still atop the teams assist totals with 6.1 per contest, while Roussell has lifted his passing numbers to 3.4 apg.
