S&S Off to Hot Start

The S&S Rams are hoping to make history this year.

The Rams are off to their first 4-0 start since 1995, and though the results may surprise some observers, it doesn't surprise the Rams.

"It's nice to be undefeated, and you, we kinda knew that we could be here," said Rams head coach Garrett Patterson.

The Rams figure to be in contention for their second ever playoff berth, and first since 1998.

"Their banner is up there, and I want to be a part of the next group the everybody talks about," said senior quarterback Reed Collum.

There's even been a change in the culture surrounding the program.

"There's a lot more people in the stands, a lot more cheering and a lot more excitement at the pep rallies," said senior running back Willie Winborne.

The team has been lead by a stout defense, and a prolific rushing attack, anchored by Winborne.

"He's a beast," said Collum.

The Rams will put their perfect record on the line against Henrietta this Friday night in Sadler at 7:30.
