In the Storm home win, Urald King posted a double-double with 20 points and 18 rebounds, while Darius Harris added 13 points and Daichi Taniguchi chipped in 10.
Taylor Smaller put up nine points and a game-high eight assists.
In the most recent matchup, King upped his scoring output with 25 points and also added eight rebounds, while John Balwigair put up 10 points.
King is averaging 16.9 ppg on the season and leads the conference with 9.2 rebounds per outing.
Smaller is next up at 11.8 ppg and leads SE with 4.2 assists per contest, while Balwigaire is adding 10.6 ppg.
As a team, Southeastern is shooting 45.9 percent from the flooort and holds a 34.7-to-32.6 rebounds per game edge over its opponents.
ATU comes into the first-round matchup at 20-8 overall ont he year and 14-5 in GAC play.
The Wonder Boys are led by a trio of double-digit averages, paced by Bobby Hatchett at 11.9 ppg, followed by Marshawn Arnold at 10.2 and Willie Rogers at 10.0.
Arnold and Charles Mells lead the team with 4.4 rebounds per game each, while Kendell Pinkney is averaging 4.0 assist per contest.
The winner of Thursday's matchup with move on to face the winner between East Central and Harding at 2:15 p.m. on March 8. with victory in that contest the team would earn a spot in the league's title game set for 1 p.m. on March 9.
