Southeastern got off to a slow start in doubles and was unable to recover, falling on the road at Oklahoma Baptist 6-3 on Monday evening in Shawnee, Okla.
The loss drops the Savage Storm to 2-2 on the year heading into a Feb. 27 road match against McMurry at noon in Abilene, Texas.
SE's number three doubles team of Elba Haugen and Marina Dias picked up the only Storm win in doubles, taking down the pair of Kelsi Lord and Kathryn Sild 8-4.
Conchi Assiego and Darija Catipovic dropped a narrow 8-5 match at number two doubles, while Brittany Tobin and Ilga Racicka-Racko were tripped up 8-0 at number one.
In singles play, Assiego bounced back to pick up a come-from-behind win, 6-7, 6-4, 6-2 over Ashlynn Abbe at number three.
Tobin picked up the team's third win with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Sild at number six.
Cassaundra Braaten and Haugen were each tripped up in three sets at numbers four and five, respectively, while OBU picked up wins at one and two as well to set the final of 6-3.
