Southeastern football has scheduled a pair of summer camps for area youth interested in advancing their football skills, with a camp for grades 1-thropugh-8 scheduled for June 20 and a second camp for high school athletes grades 9-through-12 on June 21.
These camps will be held at Paul Laird field and the Savage Storm coaching staff will serve as instructors, led by head coach Bo Atterberry.
The registration fee for both camps is $40 and athletes can register by visiting abcsportscamps.com/sefootball. The fee includes a camp t-shirt and lunch in addition to instruction.
"We are committed to providing a camp that is both instructional and informational," said Atterberry, "Along with creating a great atmosphere to learn. The coaching staff at Southeastern Oklahoma State University is dedicated to the development and growth of football players of all ages and skill levels."
SE's camp will offer an opportunity for players to receive valuable instruction on the fundamental skills of football.
The camp will feature a range of instructors, including the Savage Storm coaching staff along with current players and some of the top high school, and college coaches in the area.
The goal is to provide a positive and instrumental learning experience for all camps, in a structured, enthusiastic and fun environment.
The schedule for both camps is the same, with check-in beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day and the camp starting at 9 a.m. and running until 3:30 p.m.
Athletes will need to bring their own athletic attire, football cleats, and athletic shoes. Lunch will be provided.
