Statistically, Josh Stewart is putting himself in the company of first-round NFL draft picks Rashaun Woods, Dez Bryant and Justin Blackmon in the record books at No. 24 Oklahoma State.
Beyond the pace at which he's catching passes, there's little else that Stewart has in common with the Cowboys' recent receiving greats. While the others were often known for their ability to out-jump opponents, the 5-foot-10 Stewart is doing his damage right in the heart of opposing defenses.
Entering Saturday's regular-season finale at Baylor, Stewart has caught 84 passes for 1,007 yards and six touchdowns. Only the three NFL-bound receivers caught more passes in a season at Oklahoma State than Stewart.
