Southeastern closes out the regular season in need of a victory over Harding in their meeting on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bloomer Sullivan Arena, as well as some help as it aims to advance to the Great American Conference Tournament.
The Savage Storm come into the regular season finale with an 8-17 record overall and a 5-14 mark in league play, one game behind Ouachita Baptist for the final playoff spot in the GAC postseason tournament.
With a win and a loss by OBU at Arkansas-Monticello, the Storm would advance as the eight seed thanks to tiebreakers. The Tigers face the Boll Weevils at 4 p.m. on Saturday in Monticello, Ark.
The game will also be the final game for a pair of Southeastern seniors and Urald King and John Balwigaire will be playing in their final home contest. Travis Timmons will also be celebrating senior day despite missing the 2013-14 season due to injury.
The Storm will also be looking for a measure of revenge after falling 88-86 to Harding in overtime in Searcy, Ark., back in January.
King turned in 29 points and 12 rebounds to lead the team, while Taylor Smaller added 16 points, Anton Cook turned in 13 and Randy Peters chipped in 11.
King's 16.8 ppg lead the team for the season, while Smaller is averaging 11.4 and Balwigaire is right behind at 10.6 per outing.
King also leads the team in rebounds with 9.3 rebounds per game.
Smaller paces the Storm in assists with 4.1 per contest.
The Bisons come to town on a three-game losing streak and are 12-13 overall on the year and 9-10 in GAC play.
