The Van Alstyne Panthers outscored Brownsboro, 59-55 to win in Royse City on Thursday night.

Van Alstyne improved their record to 5-1 as they finished up non-district play in a game that provided little defense.

The Panthers had a 38-27 lead heading into the 4th quarter, but the game was only beginning. The Panthers surrendered the lead midway through the period and trailed 47-46, before rallying to take the lead and ultimately winning by the 59-55 final score.
