Colbert's season ends in quarterfinals, Tupelo advances to title game

The Colbert Lady Leopards dream season came to an end in Wednesday's state quarterfinals. Colbert lost to Okemah, 7-0, to close out their deepest playoff run in school history.

Colbert just could not get the offense going in Oklahoma City's Hall of Fame Stadium. Okemah pulled the shutout and advanced to the state semifinals.

Tupelo will play in Thursday's state title game after beating Turner and Red Oak in the first two rounds.

Rattan beat Barnsdall in the quarterfinals, 8-3, only to lose to Preston in the semifinals, 9-2.

Wilson and Roff were also eliminated in the opening round of the tournament.
