Whitewright hires former Wolfe City Football Coach

The Whitewright Tigers have hired former Wolfe City football coach Dale Trompler to take over the football program. Trompler replaces Chuck LIpsey, who left to take the head coaching job at Bangs High School.

Trompler most recently served as Jeff Cordell's offensive coordinator at Greenville. He was also the interim head coach there. Crompler is best known for the 8 years he worked in Wolfe City.

The Whitewright school board voted 7-0 in favor of the hire.

Seems like a good hire. It helps that Whitewright always has players.
