2nd Annual Small Business Saturday
ARDMORE, OK--The shopping did not stop after Black Friday. Today is the second annual Small Business Saturday and despite the cold weather shoppers went out to support local small businesses.
Small business owners in Ardmore said they were amazed at the turnout and that supporting small businesses also means support for the community because the money that's made locally is spent locally.
American Express is a sponsor of the small business Saturday campaign and today they rewarded shoppers who spent $25 at a small independent retailer with a $25 credit on their account. Small business owners say they hope that shoppers will continue to shop small.
