Celina seeks 9th State Championship

The Celina Bobcats will go for their state record ninth state championship on Friday night at Texas Stadium. The Bobcats are a perfect 5-0 in the home of the Dallas Cowboys, so it's only fitting that they will play in the final high school football game ever played there.

Celina started out the season with a 4-3 record. Since then, they have won out, including a 40-12 thrashing of top ranked Liberty Hill in last weekend's state semifinals.

Friday's game will kickoff at 8pm. The Bobcats will face Carthage, with the winner taking home the Class 3A Division II Championship trophy.
