The turnover continues at Durant High School, with Barry Hudson resigning as head girls basketball coach.
Hudson had been the girls coach in Durant for five years, but recently became the target of complaints from at least two former players. Hudson said in a statement that he met with Durant administrators and the two sides agreed that it would be best if he did not coach next season.
"During my five years at Durant, I have enjoyed coaching my teams to the best of my abilities," Hudson said. "Our teams have had many successes and we have achieved more than any girls basketball team in school history."
Hudson's departure comes just two weeks after former athletic director Drew Young stepped down. Young is on paid administrative leave until the end of the school year.
Hudson had many accomplishments on the basketball court, including a trip to the state semifinals in 2009. He was an all-state coach in 2007 and 2009.
"I appreciate all of the support that I have had from the people of Durant," Hudson said. "I am looking forward to spending more time with my family and have no plans to coach next season."
