High School Football begins in Texas
High school football practices began on Monday for Texas schools in classifications 3A through 1A.
Several area teams began working out early Monday morning. Sherman and Denison will begin their practices on Monday, August 9th. Oklahoma high schools begin the day after, August 10th.
Temperatures hit the century mark on the first day in what figures to be one of the hottest pre-seasons in Texoma history.
KXII will provide coverage on the annual Kickoff Countdown, previewing a team a day until the kickoff of the 2010 season.
