Denison's T.J. Taylor headed to UNT

Former Denison High School basketball standout T.J. Taylor has agreed to join the North Texas Mean Green, by announcing his decision on Twitter.

Taylor has made several stops since leaving Denison, including Oklahoma, Paris Junior College and Marquette.

Taylor returns to the North Texas area by saying that he will "take his talents to the University of North Texas" via his announcement on Twitter.

Taylor left Denison as the all-time scoring leader by piling up 2,630 points. He averaged 20.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists as a senior in 2009-10, helping the Yellow Jackets to a 16-win season. He led them to a 21-11 record as a junior. Taylor was a three-time district offensive player of the year.
