Honey Grove hires Lewis to lead football program

The Honey Grove Warriors have hired Brian Lewis as their new head football coach and athletic director.

Lewis was the head coach at Robinson High School near Waco for 6 years. He took the Rockets to the class 3A state championship game in 2006, and led the team to the playoffs in 4 of his 6 season.

Lewis spent the 2011 season as an assistant at Corpus Christi Calallen, and helped the team to the state semifinals.

Lewis played college football at Tarleton University and North Richland Hills High School in Fort Worth.
