Hugo Buffaloes Headed Back to the Playoffs

The 2013 season didn't start out as the Hugo Buffaloes expected.

The Buffaloes head coach, Terry Shamley, stepped down as football coach just days before 2-a-days began, leaving Hugo in a tough spot.

Enter Dana Bloedel, a former McKinney North coach, who took the reins of the team.

And the results have been nothing short of amazing. The Buffaloes, who had won 5 games total in the past 3, finished the regular season 7-3 and grabbed the teams first playoff berth since 2008.

They'll take on 10-0 Meeker on the road this friday, hoping to extend their magical season.
