SHERMAN TX--A strange discovery yesterday afternoon has a group of Sherman residents looking for a dinosaur expert.

"We need an archeologist down here to tell us what this thing is,” said Ed Vaught.

Vaught says he made the discovery while he was walking along a creek bed Tuesday afternoon, near his property between Sherman and Tom Bean, with a friend and his friend’s 12 year old son. The boy noticed what looked like large bones jutting out from the creek wall. Vaught says recent rains caused a part of the creek bank to erode, exposing the object.

Today, other suspected bones were found a few yards away. The Texas Historical Society was contacted, but no word yet on when an expert will be able to study the find.
