Ringling Hoping to Go Back-to-Back

The Ringling Blue Devils are trying to do something they've never done before, and that's go back to back.

"Making history, that's what it's about," said Ringling tight end Landon Lyle.

The Blue Devils ended last season by hoisting the Gold Ball over their heads and leaving Boone Pickens Stadium as the best team in Oklahoma.

They've now run their record to 12-1, with their only loss coming at the hands of the Davis Wolves, who are playing in the 2A state title game this year.

"That's the goal we were trying to reach, and we're there, and it's ours for the taking," said Ringling running back Braidon Willis when talking about the title game.

They'll take on the 13-0 Hollis Tigers in Cache, this Thursday at 7 pm.
