Trompler leaves alma-mater Bonham for teaching job

Dale Trompler is expected to resign as head coach in Bonham to become a full time teacher with Canadian ISD.

According to Bonham superintendent Sonny Cruse, Trompler has not turned in his resignation, but the two have been in talks about Trompler leaving. Cruse believes that Trompler is simply waiting for his paper work to go through at Canadian before officially resigning his position in Bonham.

"Based on the conversations we have had, I expect that he is leaving," Cruse said. "We will begin the search immediately."

Bonham was home for Trompler, who graduated from BHS. He took over a program in 2009 that had gone 2-18 the previous two years. Bonham had improved to a 9-and-11 record over the past two seasons.

He was ran out, results are not all of the story. He showed lack of leadership by placing friends and family into positions that were not deserved. He did not discipline those friends and family when it needed for their mishaps. There was a lot done behind the scenes that was not right in any way.

The story is that he wants more time with his family and less time having to deal with the disrespect shown by a very obnoxious family! Take that to LEONARD and smoke it!

Kinda fishy that he's leaving a lead coach position for a strictly teaching position up in BFE that only has like 2k people when Bonham is much bigger. Just sayin. What's the real story here?
