The Trenton Tiger baseball team's historic run has come to an end.

After taking an early three to nothing lead over the Stamford Bulldogs in the state semifinal game, the Tigers were unable to hold on.

Trenton was up three to two in the fourth when an error allowed three runs to score, giving Stamford a lead they would not relinquish.

Trenton would fall nine to four, allowing the Bulldogs to move on to the state final.
