Two Sign at Bonham

Bonham Lady Warriors Audrey Richardson and Katie Barber are both taking their game to the next level.

Richardson is on her way to Eastern Oklahoma State College to continue her softball career. She'll stay there for two years and then hopes to pursue her passion of softball, and nursing, at a four year institution. But for now, she's glad she gets to keep playing the sport she loves.

"It's very exciting," said Richardson, "because we had thought that I wasn't going to get one (an offer), but all of a sudden, a full ride, all the way."

Meanwhile, Barber is going just up the road to play tennis at Austin College. She's been a big part of the Lady Warriors tennis squad during her four years on varsity, and is ready to play tennis during her college years.

"It's really exciting , and I've never done this before so obviously, but it'll be new and exciting to go to college, and especially play tennis," said Barber.
