The re-building effort happened in 2011 and Comet fans hope that won't be the theme this year as 17 returning starters come back. The Comets will have Chris Bamburg at quarterback, Drake Haggard and Dakota Helm at the running back positions, and defensive starter Brent Shelton should also see time as wide receiver.
