Durant focused on season ahead

Kevin Durant is putting in the past all of his accomplishments, becoming the NBA's youngest scoring champion and leading the United States to the gold medal at the world championships.
It's time for him to focus on another season with the Oklahoma
City Thunder, starting when training camp opens Tuesday. Durant
said Monday that his success in the past few months "really
doesn't matter" now and that he's working to make his future even
better.
Last season, Durant averaged just over 30 points while leading
Oklahoma City to the playoffs just one season after the franchise
won a mere 23 games. In his mind, the Thunder are back at "square
one" because none of that success will get the team closer to its
ultimate goal of winning the NBA title.
