OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Elvis Andrus homered and singled, Scott Feldman pitched six strong innings and the Texas Rangers won their fifth straight, beating the Oakland Athletics 3-2 on Wednesday night.
David Murphy and Chris Davis each drove in a run for the Rangers, who have won six of their last seven road games.
Kurt Suzuki hit a two-run double for the A's, who dropped their fourth straight. Jack Cust had three hits.
Feldman (2-0) allowed two runs on four hits, walking two and striking out three in his third start since replacing Kris Benson in the starting rotation.
Dan Giese (0-3) went 5 2-3 innings, giving up three runs on eight hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out three in his first start of the season.
