Ellis joins the Raiders

The Dallas Cowboys released Greg Ellis two weeks ago. Now he has a new team, signing with Al Davis and the Oakland Raiders.

Ellis gets a three year deal with Oakland. The details of the contract have not been released.

Ellis brings plenty of experience to the Raider-nation. Ellis was the Cowboys' first-round pick in 1998 and played in 162 games with the Cowboys. He has amassed 77 sacks and was the comeback player of the year just two seasons ago. He made his first and only Pro-Bowl appearance that season.
