Thunder acquire Vaden from Bobcats for cash

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma City Thunder have acquired
Robert Vaden from the Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for cash.

The 6-foot-5 wing player from Alabama-Birmingham was the 54th overall pick in Thursday night's draft before the trade.

Vaden averaged 17.6 points last season with UAB, where he transferred after two seasons at Indiana to follow coach Mike Davis. Vaden is a former teammate of forward D.J. White, who was a rookie for Oklahoma City last season.
