Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has dismissed his federal lawsuit against his former accountant.
The two-page filing dated Friday says only that Durant and his company - K. Durant Enterprises, LLC - have stipulated to dismissal of the lawsuit filed by Durant in December against Joel Lynn Elliott in federal court in San Jose, Calif. The filing does not say whether there is a settlement in the case.
Attorneys for Durant and Elliott did not return phone calls to their offices on Saturday.
The lawsuit alleged that the California-based Elliott deducted some personal expenses as business expenses on Durant's taxes without proper documentation. It alleged professional negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract and sought $200,000 for each of the three counts.
