DALLAS (AP) -- The Dallas Stars re-signed centers Mike Ribeiro and Joel Lundqvist on Thursday.

Ribeiro, who led the Stars in scoring in his first season with the club, signed a one-year contract worth $2.8 million. Lundqvist was inked to a two-year contract worth $1.45 million -- $700,000 this season and $750,000 for 2008-09.

"Mike brought a great deal of playmaking and offensive ability in his first year with our club and we look forward to his continued contributions," general manager Doug Armstrong said. "Joel's rookie season was a positive one, and we envision his role increasing as he gains more experience in the NHL."

The 27-year-old Ribeiro had 18 goals and 41 assists in 81 games and added three assists and four penalty minutes in Dallas' seven playoff games last season. He was acquired last year from Montreal.

Lundqvist, 25, skated in 36 games and recorded three goals and three assists. Lundqvist, the twin brother of New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist, represented Sweden at the 2006 World Championships.

He was drafted by Dallas in the third round in 2000.
