Rita Kotey joined the KXII team as a reporter in October 2008. She comes to Texoma from Huntsville, Alabama. Rita graduated from Tennessee State University in May of 2008 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Speech Communications and Theatre. Her studies also focused on Mass Communication.

Rita is no stranger to news operations across the country. She has worked and interned for WSMV in Nashville, Tennessee, WEIU-TV in Charleston, Illinois, and WAFF48 News in Huntsville, Alabama.
