Shelby Levins joined KXII-TV in October 2008 and couldn't be more excited to call Texoma home!

Growing up as a "military brat," Shelby has lived all over the world. She graduated high school in Germany and then attended Trinity University in San Antonio, where she graduated with honors and a degree in Speech Communication and Business Administration.

Shelby has always been an inquisitive type. She has a passion for people, a thirst for knowledge, and a love for story-telling. An internship with ABC News in Washington D.C. opened her eyes to the possibilities of broadcast journalism and cemented her desire to work in the industry.

While Shelby was a senior in college, she interned at WOAI-TV, the NBC affiliate in San Antonio. After graduation, she was hired there as an associate producer, where she worked behind the scenes and helped write for the evening newscasts.

During her time at WOAI, Shelby never lost the desire to work in front of the camera and tell people's stories first-hand. Shelby is honored to get to do that here and serve the people of Texoma. If you have a story idea, a question, or just want to say hello, she'd love to hear from you! Send her an email at shelby.levins@kxii.com
