Lisanne Anderson is your hometown provider for local news, anchoring First News AM and First News at Noon. She joined KXII-TV in December of 1997, anchoring First News at Six and Ten. As a producer and anchor, she has won awards for Best Newscast and Best Anchor Team from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters.
Lisanne also contributed to the award winning coverage of the Montague County escapees captured in Ardmore, bringing home Best Spot News Coverage from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters. Two years later, she was part of team coverage for a hostage standoff in Cooke County that won Best Spot News Coverage from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters
A native Ardmoreite, Lisanne graduated from Plainview High School and earned a degree in broadcasting from the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. While still in school, she worked at KFOR in Oklahoma City, where within a year and a half, moved up from weekend overnight writer to anchoring their Sunday Morning Newscast.
Among her favorite past-times are afternoons at the lake, shopping sprees, and most of all, spending time with her daughter, Brooklyn.
