Benjamin Najar joined KXII-TV in August of 2010 and is excited about the opportunity to discuss sports with the community of Texoma.

Benjamin joins KXII-TV from Little Rock, Arkansas where he worked at KARK 4 for two years as a graphic artist. It was at KARK that Benjamin received the opportunity to step in front of the camera and discuss local sports. Taking advantage of this opportunity and the receiving more experience, Benjamin worked extensively finding compelling sports stories and previewing upcoming football match ups.

Benjamin graduated from Arkansas State, located in Jonesboro, Arkansas with a Bachelors degree in Broadcasting Journalism. During his enrollment he worked at KAIT-TV, Jonesboro Sun, ASU-TV, and The Herald.

After graduation, Benjamin interned at KLRT-TV in Little Rock, Arkansas under the supervision of David Raath. It is there that Benjamin credits gaining the most experience in sports reporting and is appreciative of the strong support he received from the other anchors and reporters.

Benjamin’s passion for sports cannot go unnoticed as he is constantly reading, writing, and preparing for the next big game. He loves all kinds of sports, but is passionate about basketball, especially the Kentucky Wildcats and the Lakers. Yes, he is a huge Kobe Bryant fan.
