Megan joined the KXII weather team in June of 2005, after graduating from The University of Oklahoma with a bachelor of science in Meteorology and a minor in broadcast journalism in May 2005. Megan began her career by forecasting the weather for News for Norman. She also interned at KTVT in Dallas/ Fort Worth and at KOCO Channel 5 in Oklahoma City.

A native Texan, Megan grew up in the Garland/Mesquite and graduated from North Mesquite High School. Growing up, she taught dance to little ones and was a cheerleader through middle school and high school. Megan was also a member of the sorority Alpha Chi Omega at OU.

A member of the American Meteorological Society, Megan is now working to get her AMS seal in the future.

Megan enjoys being with family and hanging out with friends. Her favorite things to do are shopping, running, or just being outside in the sun. She loves to watch the Oklahoma Sooners play sports.
