Aimee is thrilled to be back in the Lone Star State! Born and raised in Ft. Worth, Texas, Aimee always had a passion for weather. She found herself looking forward to spring in anticipation of thunderstorms and knew she wanted to become a meteorologist at a young age.

After high school, Aimee moved south to Bryan/College Station to attend Texas A&M University where she received her B.S. degree in meteorology in 2001. She began her on-air career at KBTX in Bryan, TX in 2000 as the fill-in meteorologist. Soon, she worked her way up to the weekday morning and noon meteorologist at KBTX. In 2003, Aimee moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she worked for KMOV as the weekend meteorologist for several years. In 2007, her husband’s career took them somewhere even colder…Boston, Massachusetts. Aimee worked as a weather producer for WHDH in Boston, and after forecasting around 10 snow storms, she realized she needed to move south! Aimee and her family now reside on the shores of Lake Texoma and are so happy to be back to a warmer climate.

In her spare time, Aimee enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 year-old son. She also loves to travel and spend time outdoors.
