POTTSBORO, Tex. -- The City of Pottsboro is gearing up for Frontier Days, but this year there will be no parade.
City officials say a lack of entries is the reason why there won't be a parade this year and stress it has nothing to do with the tragic accident during last year’s festival.
During the parade five-year-old Adrianna Bounds was killed as she was trying to get on a trailer as it was moving.
Frontier Days starts Friday and runs through Sunday.
