GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Removal of three Grayson County bridges is under way as construction started Monday.
TXDOT officials say the bridges will be moved and placed in area parks as pedestrian bridges.
The historic bridges date back to the early 1900’s.
One is at Waterloo Park in Denison ready to be installed.
The two bridges on Old Sherman Road and Horseshoe Road are in the process of being moved by the contractor.
They will be relocated to at Lake Ray Roberts in Tioga and Godwin Park in Whitesboro.
