SHERMAN, Tex. -- The new 83,000 square-foot JC Penney store located in Sherman Towne Center opened up on Friday. The store is not only good for shoppers with wider isles and a broader selection, it's also doing some good for the job market in Texoma.
Store manager Connie Poluski says the store doubled its number of employees from the old store location
"It provides better access for the customers, newer facilities for the customer. The whole layout as far as the wide isles, we have shopping carts for ease of shopping, just a whole different philosophy about how we lay out the store."
The first 750 customers got $10 gift cards good on anything in the store plus a $10 certificate for the salon.
