POTTSBORO, Tex. -- The Pottsboro Volunteer Fire Department is a little richer thanks to State Farm. The insurance company presented them with a grant for $5,000.
The department used the money to buy headsets that make fighting grass fires easier.
State Farm agent Denice Lavienka presented the check. She says she was happy to be a part of it.
State Farm gives grants on a quarterly basis to smaller cities whose departments depend on donations.
All you have to do to receive a grant is apply through a State Farm agent.
