Commissioner Crisp back at home

GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Grayson County Precinct Three Commissioner Jackie Crisp is back at home Wednesday night after spending the last couple of days in the hospital.

Crisp was checked into the emergency room last Thursday after he noticed a large red welt on his leg. It grew larger as the night wore on and after numerous tests, doctors determined that it was a blood clot, and that part of it had spread into the cavity between his heart and lung.

The clot has since broken up, and doctors allowed crisp to leave the hospital. He says he’s happy to be home.

Doctors say Crisp is expected to make a full recovery.
