Dozens without power in Denison after car crashes into power line

FANNIN COUNTY, Tex. -- Fannin County officials voted Friday to apply for a historical grant to help restore the county courthouse to its original form.
The $6 million grant will cover half of the projected costs to renovate the structure, an estimated $13 million.
Two weeks ago, workers removed parts of the current courthouse and found that the original building was structurally sound and able to be remodeled.
Now county officials say they have to decide how to cover the rest of the costs, including moving all county employees to another location while the courthouse is renovated.
The deadline to apply for the grant is November 15th.
